Memorable 3 Day Indian Wedding in Devon, Uk

The Indian Mauritian wedding of Bhargavi and Ashwin was very special for us. We had met Ashwin on one of our Photography Courses at Ambient Light Spain in the South of Spain. Over the years we had developed a friendship and it was a welcome surprise when we received news that he and Bhargavi were getting married. Would we be available to photograph the wedding? Absolutely, yes.

 

Day 1 Welcome Dinner

All the guests begun to arrive and it was immediately apparent the esteem and love in which the couple are held. The family on both sides immediately decided to adopt us and made sure that we were looked after.

 

 

Day 2 Wedding Ceremonies and Reception

Our first Hindu ceremony and very conscious that there are many important moments that cannot be missed. We are so blessed to be with so many helpful and insightful people happy to share and let us know what is happening. Also a big shout to Susie from Knot and Pop who had everything detailed down to the very last item. Also India Hurst of Vervain created stunning floral arrangements.

Day 3 Fabulous BBQ and Farewell

Family and friends ate, drunk a little and then said their farewells. We thank you Bee, Ash, Family and friends you made this event so much more. Your love, warmth and openness made this a truly memorable experience. Thank you also to Susie and her team from Knot & Pop for being there to help us and look after us.

Thank you to everyone for making our work so gratifying. A special thanks to Bhargavi’s and Ashwin’s family who adopted us on the three days and were constantly making sure that we were ok.
